    Talking R5 assault rifle?

The R5 assault rifle is, along with the R4, one of the primary assault rifles in use by the military of South Africa.

It is based on the Israeli Galil rifle, which in turn was based on the Finnish Valmet Rk 62, a highly modified Russian AK-47 assault rifle.

The R5 operates in semi-automatic, safety and fully automatic firing modes and fires 5.56x45 mm rounds. It is manufactured by Vektor, a division of Denel Ltd

    What do you think.............................?

these rifles took on and pushed out the comies invasion of Angola, Namibia and Zambia............................................ .....

Looks a bit like the sig552 for a sec.
Prepare for action, stand up, check equipment, number off for equipment check, action stations, red on, and the rest is history....

these pics are R5's that have had the front modified with a different grip.... We sell tons of these to countries in South America, Iran special units use the new R6 witch has that nozel infront to prevent visual flashes...... The ones we use here have a square grip in front and the folding stock is slightly different......

Busy locating a R6 pic, they are really mean looking, also with the magazine loading behind the trigger and grip....................
