this was also not Long ago...Young Girl escapes to Germany. she was an Isis sex slave. In Germany she meets one of her Isis rapists ! he speaks to her tells her he knows where she lives..etc. she said, i don´t feel safe in Germany & left Germany. The German Police can´t do anything.... it´s sheer Madness.

Police arrived at the scene of the incident, a good 10 minutes after the ambulances !
The préfet had mobilised soldiers (op sentinelle) as well as an important amount of CRS
An ex legionnaire's (REP) brother was présent at the scène and gave me a better version that the télé did
(said that, to get this thread back on track)

1st cie of 2 REI have just finished a CTVI course (Chef Tireur de Véhicule d' Infanterie)
A new formation for the VBCI
Live rounds firing, topographie, quality of feed back reports,stripping and re assembly of the véhicule weapons , optics and communications
The rest of the article explains in détail the difference between the standard VBCI 29 t. and the version used on Opex 32 t.
In french, of course but a must read !

Post Shitum : If some bright spark can post a picture of a VBCI, will be much appreciated

The Véhicule Blindé de Combat d'Infanterie is a French Infantry fighting vehicle designed to replace the AMX-10P. They entered active service with the French Army in 2008, with 630 vehicles ordered up to 2010. Spain and the UK have shown interest in the vehicle. Wikipedia

Hi Le petit caporal. It might be better that you explain to us non 2REI in basic layman's term's what all this involves.
BTW I was the bright spark who posted a pic of the VBCI :giggle:

What licence do you need to drive that given it's Weight?

A course will be giving to the candidats ,about a month (spécifique for that véhicule. .even if you already have a heavy goods licence, you will still be obliged to follow the course

so you would of course need heavy goods. remember guys doing HGV 2 on the old stally , stalwart.
