Wake up an hour earlier than normal and go for a run for 30-45 min and if possible do some gym in the evening for an hour.
Are you sure that you;'re training for the legion? Your mammoth work outs and eating habits do not correspond with legion routine. Will you eat pork? Also as you are starting a new job, all be it an office job do you think that you will have enough energy to carry on your 'marvel super hero ' workouts? If so then you are not totally committed to your job. Also try to remember that during the 3-4 weeks that you will be in Aubagne, there will be no mega workouts and the most you will be doing is a short run in the mornings.I try to eat atleast 4-5 times a day, the good thing is food is cheap
I've been building my fitness level for quite a while sir in preparation to join my country's armed forces. so i'm quite used to doing this kind of workout since college days eating 2-3 meals (roughly half of a western size meal) sir. That's why i was really light ~62 kg eat very little and do mostly long runs and bodyweight exercises and judo (since it was free). I graduated with a good gpa (so I know i can do a decent job while at the same time training hard). In regards to distractions (getting a promotion, meeting a girl etc) no, not really, never actually had a "social" social life. I actually resigned from my first job to join the navy as an nco (from my earlier post, which I failed) & as an officer but due to my ears being wrecked (which is an immediate disqualifier) I dont really see it as an option unless i have money/ some backchannels which I dont. So in terms of commitment, I cant really say much in the forum but I know I'm committed. If I don't get any jobs within this month I'm gonna try my luck again to join as an officer even if the chances are almost zero. and also I'm a non-muslim, so I do eat porkAre you sure that you;'re training for the legion? All that is by the by what I'm concerned is mainly your commitment to get to France. If you are willing to wait upto 3 years to go through the correct channels instead of looking at other possibilities then you may as well forget it. You are not telling me that in the 3 years after getting a promotion in your, job, meeting a girl buying fancy moped etc. that your aim is to leave it all and go and join the legion? .
Join your navy as a rating if it's easier, then jump ship when you refuel in Europe or even join your merchant navy and do the same, if you wait / waste 3 years you will change your mind.I've been building my fitness level for quite a while sir in preparation to join my country's armed forces. so i'm quite used to doing this kind of workout since college days eating 2-3 meals (roughly half of a western size meal) sir. I already said in an earlier post, i cant join the navy anymore. and even if i join the merchant navy there's no guarantee I"ll be shipped to europe (let alone france)Join your navy as a rating if it's easier, then jump ship when you refuel in Europe or even join your merchant navy and do the same, if you wait / waste 3 years you will change your mind.
Don’t Listen to him. First he says "jump ship" now he's saying Desert the Navy. You'll just get Into trouble. Funny How people on here go on about people not doing their full legion contract & deserting like they are w@nkers but to Desert other militaries is okI already said in an earlier post, i cant join the navy anymore. and even if i join the merchant navy there's no guarantee I"ll be shipped to europe (let alone france)
I'll justvstick to my initial plan, get a job, save money, apply for visa.My advice is if you do join the merchant navy do your contract, save money & The Légion will see you did your full time. You'll be trusted to do your legion contract. If they find out you deserted from the navy they might think you're not reliable, even if you explain it was to get to France. I knew a guy in the 80s who deserted the British army to join they never took him.
Yeah.. Don't Listen to the forum cock. He knows nothing about everythingI'll justvstick to my initial plan, get a job, save money, apply for visa.
just go through Holland, much easier. Holland is just a few hours by train (TGV) from Paris were you can join at Fort de Nogent. (BTW would have been easier if indonesia was still dutch )Well here we can only get a schengen visa via TLS contact which was appointed by the french embassy in Indo. Travelling to holland is also an option (the bank requirements aren't as strict as France). I'll try to find other "illegitimate" ways to go, but currently those are my only options.
I also thought about that, but since this will be my first time travelling abroad i'll try to get as much info first before committing to a plan of action. hahahaha, fook off, 350 years of occupation was enough, we like being independent. and also screw the japs, they were an even more pain in the d*ckjust go through Holland, much easier.
