In the third photo, I see a young looking A/C Sabljic, later to become Lt Col, which underlines the point of how far can you get in the way of advancement in the Legion. Sgt Faggarazzi, Sgt Payet and most of all a Lt Bellot des Minières, who I owe my affectation to the 3rd Cie REP.3Cie Calvi, the tenue de parade (summer/winter) of the late 1980's, early '90's. Lt-Col Sabljic (on the far right of the photo?) is impressive. From Bosnia to the Legion, became an officer and in the end - had the honour to carry the hand of Cap Danjou on Camerone Day. A number of Anciens on this forum spoke highly of him.In the third photo, I see a young looking A/C Sabljic, later to become Lt Col, which underlines the point of how far can you get in the way of advancement in the Legion.
