Have you got the reference to it. BTW, I noticed that the first site even translates into Serb ! I mean What The F@ck, which site translates into Serb !? o_O
Not many, but neither do that one. Its atomic translation. It's become so good I can actually read text without any confusions.

C'mon Joe did you saw how many languages is there? It's not like is French, English, Spanish and Serbian. :)

Not too sure about that one, as I know that Pink Floyd still keeps contacts with some REPmen. Besides, the photos could be anywhere. I was based at Bulford barracks which is on the outskirts of Salisbury plains (not to be confused with Salisbury hill  ) it's Seven o'clock and I'm gonna rock. I'm off to a cracking start.

Just to avoid any confusion, I'm NOT saying that the photos are not taken on Salisbury.

Lol, regarding 2Cie on Salisbury Plain..being in the Mountain Combat 2Cie in the '80's I was accustomed to climbing up and down rocks/snow at altitude...has there been a transition to fighting Apache style on the plains? .. the irony. Good pics!

Looking at the guy with his hands on his hips I can just imagine what he's thinking..wtf..etc..
Anyone who's jumped a bit must have pulled branches out of their rear, either come close to or bounced off a building...etc..
This pic brings back a few memories.

Some good memories.. but also some not so good..I remember a Swiss lad in my cie.. he was training for the GCP..and one weekend we were doing sports parachuting.. his parachute didn’t open..he was such a popular lad.. always had us in stitches with his jokes and carrying on.. at his funeral the whole regiment turned out to pay their respects. His family from Switzerland were also there. It was a sad occasion..now looking back thinking of him and others I knew..no regrets. Just a sense of pride!

That's tough, especially when you see it happen.
After the Legion I joined a sports para club in Vancouver when I went back to school. I had a plastic jumpsuit on and the bench I was sitting on had a thick layer of shellac. The side doors were removed from this small plane and as we took off and were climbing I was sliding on that bench like a greased pig and nearly fell out a couple of times due to turbulence and next to nothing to grab onto or wedge into. I was glad to finally jump out of the damn thing.
There was a sweet girl, sporty and full of pep with a few hundred jumps under her belt who candled. A few of us were on the ground at the time watching the other jumpers do their thing. We saw everyone open but her chute just candled. She cut away and was able to get her reserve open around 300/400 ft and hit the ground hard but safely..good presence of mind.
After these sessions we would always go to a local bar and quaff a few brew. Comes with the territory.
