I was there ten years later..a very basic parachute training centre for the REP. Now as I see it on google a swimming pool and all kinds of clubs! Much has changed!! Good to see some of us are still around! Cheers mate!

I Mark, I take it that you would have gone to the old outdoor swimming pool that was filled with sea water in the day. I forget the name of the village it was in, it may even have depended on the commune of Lumio.

Cut it in half down the middle top to bottom I would say around 10 o’clock ok don’t no why but never new it went by the name Bay of Calvi just some morning after a few Ks it looked a long beach to go running on !

I remember that in the carnet de saut, it was written as the golfe de Calvi. Which naturally led to a lot of comments about having jumped into the Golfe.
