Seriously, what is your problem? No, really? To weak to become a legionary and now you sit here and complaining about others you hardly know. Grow up for **** sake.

Can we list the bastard deserters who didn't have the courage to better themselves?
I don't think this is a good idea... And that's an understatement.

Tragedy: When you lose control and you got no soul, it's tragedy. When the morning cries and you don't know why, It's hard to bear [...] (The Bee Gees of course !)

I dont decline that I deserted but who the **** do you think you are. A guy that failed the psyco test =) why didn't you make it inside??? It's not about courage to stay in the Legion. I went there but came back because I saw that I can make a better life for myself. The guys in the Legion are the people that have anything to live for. Most of the people in the Legion were jealous because of the living here in Finland. Who ever decides to quit the Legion during contract is not weak. They have the desire to make it for them selfs in the civilian life. I apologise for my uncorrect English text.

Again you couldn't be more wrong...there are certainly such cases but just don't generalise about all who join the FFL - and stay to complete their contract...then get on with the challenges of civilian life after their FFL contract....

Ask anybody who finished his contract. Why they stayed and didn't desert is very simple: we gave our word and stuck to it. We served with honor and fidelity and didn't whiung and moan when the going got tough.
Do yourself a favour do not on any account compare yourself to an Ancien who finished his five years. I would post the exact reply to somebody who had served 4 years and 364 days and then deserted.
