My grandmother had one of those. Interesting gadget. Thing of the past, I guess. Now there is electric with battery. (no risk from el. shock as some old had :))

I still use a hot water bottle. One is on my lap as I write this. Far cheaper than electric. Just because it's old technology doesn't make it any less useful :)

You need to ask Papillon he was an Argyll & Southerland Highlander who wore kilts. :)

It was where we carry our money and flask. A traditional kilt had pockets if you folded them in. Modern kilts are just for show now. As are the sporrans.

I'm watching the documentary series "The Scheme" at the moment...
what´s is it about ? a Housing scheme?:unsure:
3:50 a little slap... nice girls... they remind me of two girls me & a guy picked up from the Raploch in stirling. were rough ..started fighting too. one had home made tattoos all over. I still had my evil way with one of them though. a blond girl.

kids playing in the puddles...lol. changed now though. The Raploch in stirling was rough in the 70s & 80s. I knew a guy who was in the Navy, was on Submarines. He picked up a girl & ended up in the Raploch, the Father & brother of the girl robbed him. Of course not all were bad people there. My Father drove a Butcher van down there & sometimes i went with him. Always got given money of the women there. were hard people but also generous too.
