The most important thing of all is to keep your dignity. Never be ashamed of yourself. That way you can enjoy your old age.

Watched some Scottish guy describing exact same thing and saying that happened to him in FFL.
He leave after basic (if not earlier) so he maybe BS-in, but there is nice chanse he telling the truth. There's lot of Russians in legion...

maybe... but i think they have it under control. would not scare me from joining. i mean they are in line now with the French army so i doubt it happens. might get a slap if you screw up but that happened in the British army too. no doubt in any army.

Shameful that a good soldier was lost to hazing. That SEAL needs to be made into an example. The only ones they should be destroying is the enemy.

As Jonny said, bullying is for peacetime soldiers. Even if not at war, they should be training. We all expect more from our Special Operations troops.

P.S. that hazing sh*t is for the birds. I get having the new guy fight someone, or talking shit. What I don't find acceptable is anything that causes real harm to the soldier or anything sexual. Take you and your childhood issues somewhere else your energy should be in training and in war
