I may sound a tad arrogant but at 80 next b/day, I'm not going to listen to some history student pontificating. I personally know about the suffering and war crimes of WW2. Yes, all sides in the sorry saga of Ireland have often acted egregiously. If the young gentleman's adverse comments were less personal, more serious and worthy of merit, I wonder why so many Irish men from both North and South join the superb 'Micks', namely the Irish Guards or the Royal Irish Rangers ?
