Look, I am good friends with the Caporal and he is doing quite well and serving. He is a Brother to all of us especially those whom has served, and no one should want to disparage another who has served, Dusa on the other hand, he is free game, that is until his feet are in the yellow footprints
What's your point? He is free to come back to forum anytime he wants. 666 had temporary ban which expired long time ago, so...
Do I wish him back? Yes I do. As long as he don't behave like total prick (as he did right before ban) il be glad to have him back on board.

As for my eventually enlistment , no point of bringing that up again and again. It's quite possible that I would never join.

He was permanently banned and he hated this forum.

He was permanently banned for a very good reason. I had the impression that not only did he hate the forum and the Anciens on it but also that he hated the Legion. I am certain that he has signed on again in order to get his French nationality, nothing wrong with that.
However as I have said before, you get out of the Legion what you put in. And if after having taken three attempts to join the Legion, you should show your gratitude. Sure there are things that you do not like in the legion and there are things that do not live up to your expectations. But when you go back three (3) times asking to join, then be grateful that they have accepted you.

How many times had he been temporarily banned before? For insulting Anciens, calling us nothing but old has beens and alcoholics. That I can handle, I prefer to be called and old has been then to be called a never was. What I could not handle is the way he slagged down the Legion (before signing on for another year).

He was a "special child" on this forum, sure he still is. Like Joe pointed out, browse for his posts for full diagnose.
Suprised that Legion wants him for more / gives the option (if that's the truth).

If anyone is in contact with him; please tell him to go f..k himself .
Thank you.

I almost forgot. Maybe he is behaving different in real life. Still, could someone be so drastically different online and in real? If he is back he would probably star trashing again on everyone in short time.

Just glancing through the forum. Last few months rather hectic with my wife in and out of hospital. Seeing the specialist tomorrow at the Royal Surrey Hospital. No sympathy required from anyone. So please don't bother.

Good post by Joe C. re : DCLXVI. I for one never understood why he always slated the FFL.

Guys... DCLXVI is history. Why reopen this can of worms ? Maybe, as Dusaboss said, he’s different in real life, but on the board he was behaving just like a d*ckhead. Not sure why exactly. Surprised to see that he’s considering signing up for one more year, after all the derogatory comments he made about the Legion, as pointed out by Joseph. Wishing him good luck anyway.

Over the years I have contributed to countless books, newspaper articles and interviews. Replied to journalists e-mail requests. Middle of the night phone calls from around the world. The one thing I always repeat when discussing the Legion is...You go to the Legion, the Legion doesn't come to you!

Dislike Joe? Man, what did I do wrong here? :)
Please someone else help me out here . It's already 10:40 and it should be my day off from the gym, so that I can do my job searching. However I went to the gym because tomorrow I have to go to Bangkok, on my own because Erika says that she cannot put up with the looong journey. It should be 2 ½ hours there and the same time coming back. Except going there I have to leave at 06:00 in the morning to avoid traffic. However coming back there is no possibility of that. And ever since we've been in Thailand they have been working on the the main road. The main road runs from the South of Thailand to the North with BKK being considered the center. So all road kilometers are either 1 N 2 N going north of Victory monument or 1 S etc. going south.
The problem is when they constructed the roads they did it in the dry season.

So they are constantly repairing the roads. BTW they are going to find a new capital because BKK is slowly sinking:

Also the city was built on the cities main underground natural water supply. So of course the Thai people are tapping into it :ROFLMAO:.

So I would appreciate it if someone could help me out by explaining to Dusa why he should not called Chas an old man. ;)

First thing which comes to my mind when I think about Thailand is (Joe of course :)) than heavenly beaches, nice hot weather, everything cheap, weird street food and indistinguishable tarnnyis. And that's what average tourist see. If you live there for some time you probably see other, not so charming, Joe's Thailand. :)

Ahh that. Nah, Chas is my man! He won't mind that. If he does, for some reason, mind that, I'm deeply apologizing.

It is not the same as Stari or Стари calling someone in his twilight years an old man, I don't know, it just doesn't sound right. :coffee:

I‘m amazed DCLXVI is signing on for another year after his views a while back. Guess he’s had a change of heart. Good luck to him.

I guess I'm little bit lost in translation. Here is quite common to call someone Stari and not sound derogatory.

This would be amusing play for little bit of change. To be fair Crysis (one of best games ever) was albot killing Koreans.

Interesting North Korean representation of American soldier with huge nose. To be honest if comparing Koreans the Yankees have big noses. Also it's dress up in something like Korean war era uniform.
I guess they wound some old Korean war veteran and ask them to make sketch of American. (He would say in Korean) "OK young man, it was a long time ago, but this is how I remember American soldiers." :D
Do he have vampire teeth also? :)

If I've gotten this correctly, if the little boy can hit the yankee he gets a toy doll. If the little boy or girl next to him hits the teacher he gets a thick ear.
You've got to hand it to the North Koreans they have got style (no other word for it ! Style)
