Hello FlamingAlpaca95,
This might be useful:
"Eye surgery. If you had a laser vision-correction surgery (or another eye surgery), you have to wait at least 12 months before you can try to enlist you in the Legion. "
The link: http://foreignlegion.info/french-foreign-legion-eyesight-vision-requirements/
Hope I didn't discourage you, wish you all the best with your preparations.

On one side, you can use one year to prep yourself. On other, there is plenty of legionnaires with eyeglasses.
I was considering Lasik so that I don't have to deal with glasses and contacts at castel. And so it doesn't keep me from any job or regiment. But considering what USMCRET and Joe said I might forget about Lasik to help my chances of getting in in the first place. A year from now they might not be recruiting as much as they are now. Does anyone know if I'd be allowed to get Lasik once I'm I'm?

If Lasik can be a permanent solution, why not. ..the Legion can wait
Supposedly there is, or soon will be, 'drops', that can help (once a week kind of thing, made by Israël)
