[Just in case]: mail with "Failed Login Notification on a ..."

just an info: we have here an automated mail system which warns you if someone tries to login and fails (email with subject: Failed Login Notification on a French Foreign Legion Forum : cervens.net), so

• if you get this mail, don't worry, again it's just an info,
• it's not specific to this place,this occurs on ALL forums/BBS etc everywhere, everytime; I turned it on for your information, if you feel uncomfortable, we can turn this warning system off;
• why someone tries to login -and use your account-? because spammers can't login/register or were banned but try to find a way to spam this place
• whatever system we can use against spammers, these will always try;spam lives on, despite all our efforts to snuff it out; we have here a zero tolerance policy and in case some spammers can register, they are immediately banned for ever;
• anyway before giving your personal email to other members, use a while the PM here, to avoid to be later spammed on your personal email (and to avoid to rule out these spam with your mail software)
• most of the times these spammers use proxies IPs

BTW: please, don't forward these failed logins emails to the mods or admin, no need;
