Infact when you´ve served in any army come back and give me your opinion but you´ve never been anywhere have you. Let´s be honest here the REP are no where near the standard of US Navy seals.. sure they have good guys but not anywhere near seals,sas,sbs. get real.

When I want your permission to give you advice I would ask.

I don't like when they here on board making FFL as some perfect, flawless weight force. Need to be criticized when there is reasons for it (and there is). Also don't like when some do that with no reason

what is critical about writing they would not need the Legion as the job was done by Navy Seals? Pink Floyd wrote that they never took part. what are you talking about? I do not think you understood the posts. maybe you´re drunk
I also wrote they might have been used as a support role as the British paras have done with sas operations.

maybe they are but i never heard of them until i came on here. Not a bad thing though as they keep in the shadows like the SAS did up untill the early 80s. Are there ex members who have wrote books? or films?

I remember joining as a chef the Brit army and having to sign the official secrets act, as did you and anyone else who joined the British army. I can tell you now, unless I was working in some top HQ officer's mess, or as 'house chef'- some of the top brass have their own ACC chefs- then there is no way I was going to come across anything anything worth mentioning. But I still had to sign the act, with the consequences clearly pointed out to me.

What I would like to know is how is it that these highly trained specialists in modern warfare are publishing books and making money by doing so.
I could rip apart the bravo completely zero book to pieces. but the question is how come he was allowed to publish it? And how is it that Andy McKnobber is giving lectures in military academies, with the blessing of the Brit government?

well maybe Joe but as i wrote i know the ACC Guys cooked for us and the staff officers at 1 Div, later 1 (UK) Armd Div & Signal Regt. They might have got a few "extras" and never ate with us but got the same basic food also i sat with the General commanding & staff officers. I heard enough believe me. I know what i´m talking about.

You see, I had a few gallons of home-brew that was ready for bottling; didn't have enough bottles, so I bottled some, drank the rest. Not sure what the ABV is on this batch; I think I buggered something up and made barley wine rather than ale. It's some pretty stout stuff.

I`ve read many inaccuracies in McNab`s books and suspect much of his work is ghost written.
