I’ve just stumbled upon this and I thought I’d share it (for what it’s worth). It’s in French and it was written in April.
It mentions “statisticsâ€￾ about the number of legionnaires in the FFL today coming from far away places - and I do mean far away:

Samoa: 1 legionnaire
Vanuatu: 15 legionnaires including 2 NCOs
Fiji: 10 legionnaires
NZ: 8 legionnaires
Australia: 12 legionnaires

Only 20 ANZAC's? Can someone please clarify? Only two Syrians? Or 2 Syrian & 4 Greeks, or 24 of either.

20 is a lot. In beginning of 1986 there were about 4-5 Kiwis and about the same number of Australians. Most of them were in the REP. There were 2 Aussies and 1 Kiwi in the 13th. Bucket loads of UK passport holders though.
