Boche Wurst mit mein Châteauneuf-du-Pape? Inculte !
Exactement. That's what I'm sayin'. LPC gets it, comme d'habitude. The 'Auld Alliance' at work, perhaps.Boche Wurst mit mein Châteauneuf-du-Pape? Inculte !
Thanks Crawdad, I've left the idea of the Legion, Chas has helped me out quite a bit and I've got my direction now. I stick around because I've made some good friends and still have an interest in the Legion and its history. Can't speak for Dusa though.Oh yeah, while I'm on the subject. USMCRET, mon frère Cadien, you might can translate.
Dusa, I meant what I said. And Snafu, i still owe you a six pack, for guessing half my name. Boys, I'm about to to make a gofundme page for the both of you to get yáll's behinds to FDN. Yáll got the heart, I think. Y'all just need money, je pense.

Cheers Snafu Although I have to admit, I don't really like watching Legion docs as they are more or less the same. One good thing is that the doc confirmed, there is a tent test -those of you who remember DCLXVI will know how much he was full of sh*t when he said that the corporals did when they were bored.13h15, le dimanche...
Did you mean a big f*ckoff bugger and chips?Although when we joined up, le 'tit Cpl, Mark Wake, papaillion, Pink, floyd, Maim, et j'en passe there was no internet or youtube etc. Now that we are used to it, once you join the legion, believe me you will miss it. I'm at the AMS guest house in Bamako where you are allowed internet and You tube etc
However at the mine, only internet in the rooms to connect the telephones to whats app and very limited internet in the offices. No connection to facebook and only authorized access to youtube which I had. So in the mornings I would call Erika around 05:20, after breakfast at 05:00 and then check my emails and cervens in the office around 07:20 after doing my rounds and the safety meeting. And that is it!
We had cable TVs in the rooms, well not everyone, it depends on your rank/position. But (you can believe me or not) all the swear words were cut out! Worse than me with the edit button!
Just be prepared to not listen to any music and watch any good moies for a long time while you are in basic is all I'm trying to say.
Next time will be different as I know what to expect, when I say next time, I mean the mine, not the legion. I'll down load a bunch of music and some porno movies and take along a load of latest illegal copies of blockbusters.
You guys won't even be interested in the movies on your first afternoon in town. You'll go to the cybercafe and then get yourselves a big f*ckoff buger and chips or a pizza and get drunk.
Nothing wrong with that,
Money isn't problem for me. Ticket is not that much expensive from here. After all I'm ready to hitchhike for Aubagne if there is no other option. Unfortunately some medical problems stopping me from joining for long time. It's getting better and hopefully I'll be able to try soon. I also stopped to train, but I'm starting again today.Oh yeah, while I'm on the subject. USMCRET, mon frère Cadien, you might can translate.

well half way point i´ll put you up for a night or two dusa & i won´t even molest you i would even help you out with a train or bus ticket from here. Strasbourg is not far.Money isn't problem for me. Yes, that's exactly what is said by the Lt we see in the documentary, when he discusses the case of BBCody with the NCO who interviewed him. The Lt also says that being older than the average, he could play the role of kind of the “big brother” for the younger recruits.(...) As for BBCody, I'm glad that he has made it. 7 years in jail and 34 years old, it just goes to show you that the Legion will give you a second chance in life..
OK but you ain't getting me Joe. And I don't blame you for that. If someone telling me same story as I do to you for ... how many? 2-3 years now. I would very suspicious too. As I said I don't blame you and I don't ask from you to believe me.If I might say something on the subject of our man Dusa. It has to be remembered that any one who wants to join the Legion can. Anyone who changes his mind can. Anyone who still has not decided if the Legion is for him, is fine.
Dusa, you do as you feel mate.
I like that I need a restart, has anyone on here done any private security contacting after the military? The Legion is for those that have no options or need a reset on their life. If you can join your local military, do it, don't think you're going to be some specialist uber commando, that is not the Legion. The Legion is not the land of milk and honey but it gives those a home and a purpose if they choose to put their hand up.
Yup , sort of, but am an independent, self-employed. Not really the same thing.I like that I need a restart, has anyone on here done any private security contacting after the military?
That’s pretty cool. Have you gotten any government contracts and do you think the Legion helps you with the necessary skill?Yup , sort of, but am an independent, self-employed. Not really the same thing.
I can see a movie/book in this, something like a student travels to France with parents, disappears from a Marseille hotel. After 5 years of distinguished service in the Legion, he takes on the local mafia gun runners. I know it has a whiff of the Bourne Identity... but it could be a winner with the right director, and there are plenty of good filming locations in southern France.Who is this guy? If anyone on here doesn't realize that the Legion is for five (5) years PM Tommy... You may play at the poor college student, but travelling to France, down to Marseille and then trough villages... Boll*cks!
I can tell you after having read through your previous posts that you would not last 5 years, 5 days... perhaps.
