Here are a few interesting French Foreign Legion websites for future use, since right now I believe I'm the only Portuguese-speaking member of this forum, nevertheless these are great sources, and according to my humble wannabe-like understanding, the info on them is quite accurate.
They’re mostly Brazilian sites, but there are some Portuguese ones as well, whoever will be able to read them, will easily identify which is which.
Hope this someday will come in handy.
http://www.legionetrangere.hpg.ig.com.br/ (Brazilian)
http://www.geocities.com/catatoi/ (Brazilian, great amount of pictures)
http://soldierschool.tripod.com/index.html (preparatory course for future legionnaires, by F.N. PALMIERI, ex legionnaire)
http://supergordo.kicks-ass.net/Ficheiros/Power/legiao_files/frame.htm#slide0008.htm (brazilian, basic overall)
http://mundoestranho.abril.com.br/edicoes/47/perguntaresposta/conteudo_112313.shtml (article written by Brazilian ancien about his days in the Legion)
