Californiajai is stationed just a stones throw away from me. I think he is still in Alaska though. We also grew up a few blocks away from each other in a city in California which is a little strange to say the least. A few of West Coasters here.

Maybe some of us don't want to fill out the profiles because we suspect the Gestapo to be watching.... :)

I keep saying that yet I keep posting, man I am bored tonight, had plans with like 3 girls, 2 last night and 2 tonight (one was from the first night) and they keep cancelling on me, or I cancel, or like last night I had a date with one, but another called who i wanted to see more so I cancelled on girl 1 and she was pissed off , but then girl 2 cancelled on me cause she was feeling sick, so I tried to call girl 1 again and she wouldnt talk to me...hahaha
I had a date tonight but was too tired myself and am going to be now at 10:30, wouldn't have had enough time for a 'real' date, :)

Profile: Beau-Sheep.....

Not even a tad "Beau" in fact bears distinct relationship to a child force fed by catapult.

Not into Sheep although a few of my exs have at least from a pubic stand point... been not too "kosha"

Ex Legion and other crimes.

Ex airborne... for the wannabe readers airborne= too thick to fly planes, dumb enough to leave aircraft in flight with a parachute and a pocket full o "blow me ups"

Active paragliding pilot, still gets off on being scared shitless... regardless of him pushing 40

Into peace love and Kalashnikovs....

Apart from that not a bad chap.

You? Come on lets see anciens and wannabes list name, place and sexual deviations!

Bonjour Nickfury,

A few weeks ago, BOSS brought this up (Why am I thinking about Pretoria's old Bureau of State Security?) in a post titled suggestions.

He asked for feedback regarding creating a new forum section for participants' backgrounds.

The current profile section is way too narrow. I wrote that the suggestion is a good idea. It allows for a narrative whereas the current profile section is too restrictive. Eg interests; the readership is more focused to military interests, even if secondary, rather than someone's award winning vegetable garden.

I am a social reformer but without a narrative section there would be no room for "office hours by appointment only".

Beau Sheep's entry above, when placed in a dedicated forum section meets the requirements.

Plus, for full disclosure, I am the least knowledgable re computers here. Would love to add a picture but besides no computer knowledge, one more wire in this place and I get another Boy Scout merit badge for basket weaving with oak leaf cluster.

Boss's post was the first day or so of March.

Saluations,
BobW

Norwegian

age 22

Served two years in the Norwegian army.. Never got to experience some action, but still hoping..
Currently a student, but feel that I'm on the wrong track in my life, eventhough everybody tells me that I've made the right choice by going back to school, and end up with a shitload of money waiting to get paid when I get my bachelors degree.

Likes action, beer and women.. As for the time being, there is mostly beer.. :D

Happy holidays to everyone on this forum!

For those of you who haven't already gathered the following from my prior posts:
18 year old male.
Currently residing in Madison, Wisconsin, have also lived in Flint, Michigan... Hattisburg, Mississippi... New Haven, Conneticut... Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria... Milwaukee, Wisconsin... College Station, Texas... I think that's it, I've moved back and forth from Madison and Flint more than once.
Never been a part of any military, nor the Boy Scouts.
Plan on trying out for the Legion in December, possibly (but hopefully not) later.
Don't have a job.
Hobbies include music and Kung Fu (competitive fighting)
Favorite drink is Slivovitz (who'd o' thought?), second favorite drink is Dead Nazis.
My reasons for wanting to join are numerous, but personal. I've let them slip before, but it wouldn't be appropiate to do so again.

And here we have a 22 year old legionnaire gonnabe from Finland. I was in the Finnish army for a year and got out as a corporal. At the moment I'm getting myself into shape before joining, I'm gonna give me a year or so for this thing.
Why I want to join the Legion, I don't know, it's not the "huge" paycheck or the "cool" camping trips that some have as the priority reasons. Maybe I'll tell you some day why I want to join, when I find out.

By the way, does anyone know what the Legion says/does when people with debt try to enlist? Will they kick me out and say that I should pay my debt first, or do they just don't care??
