So from my post history you will see I was ex military in Canada. I went to try out for the French Foreign Legion did not pass selection. So I thought over my life tried to get back in. Just as I am about to ship out police show up at my door take me in for questioning. Someone I know (I will stress a past associate now) is associated with the far right, has a record I wasn't too aware of that marks him as a domestic terrorist in the US. So I was not charged with anything civvie side as I explained myself well. But there is two seperate investigations. Military side may be either getting the boot out or maximum penalty of two years in jail.

I am not allowed to discuss full details right now about everything. But I am not going to run away and even if I tried doubtful I would get far.

So after I serve my time or get kicked out. And this will be on my interpol record (not wanted but lets say a person of interest or with associates of interest) do I have a chance of passing the Gestapo interviews?

I am not far right my wife is not even white. But in this witch hunt type scenario I got caught in the crossfire. And all I could get the police to say in my favor is I was coerced into something I was not aware of. Military is more guilty until proven innocent and due to new policies in the Canadian Army I doubt they will be as relaxed and let me clear things up. Although official charge is basically falsifying information (ie I said I was not a member of any far right groups when I was sworn in).

Not too comfortable discussing full details publicly but police had my full online activities especially facebook from past 10 years.

If what you're saying is true you probably have good chance to be accepted. (What test you don't pass first time?)
You are correct that there is leftist witch hunt and one can easily get in trouble without any reasonable guiltiness.
Especially in Canada! Being far right in Canada is probably means being canter in normal country (or slightly left in mine :))

So yeah, if only fault of yours is being friend with someone who are far right and you don't see those ideas I think that shouldn't be problem with gestapo. If in other hand you have big tattoo of swastika somewhere it would be hard to seal your story. ;)

And from what communist country is your wife? I mean there is no communist countries anymore. Only North Korea and even they don't call that communism anymore,

You mentioned that you did not pass selection, did you get a note/paper inapte temporaire?
Yes I got a inapte temporaire due to failing the beep test as embarrassing as that sounds. I am not an excellent runner but I can do the cooper test with 2.63km, 5km in 24mins56s and 10km in 57mins. My longest run last month was 30km. I do alot of calisthenics so most push ups continuous for me is 105, chin ups were 30, and pull ups I can do at least 20 (my arms are stronger than my back I suppose). I worked out very hard after coming back as my goal was to work up to try for special forces here. Due to the things on the go here I did not really work out much this month but I can at least make level 7 on the Luc Leger now if I pace myself. I was not used to the heat in Paris (alot colder here) and was a bit sick. Excuses on my part I suppose but was embarrassing to fail it. I did not get gassed out just missed a beep due to pacing myself too slowly.

The Legion has an agreement to provide Interpol with the identity of every candidate that tries to insist so to answer your question it would be Interpol that would advise the Legion if they held information on you, but you sound full of well you no the rest!!!
agree... take the dude with a pinch of salt.. as Joe mentioned the Legion do look at this site so no one in their right mind will admit to any crimes on here. Even if he was there before.

Yes does seem like a witch hunt to me especially because last time I spoke with civilian police I was half cleared of those accusations and then they tried to get me to admit to be guilty of other charges I did not do and things from my past like 7-8 years ago when I was a dumb kid. I did not anticipate all this happening. So almost like they could not get me for being far right or planning anything so lets try get him for something else. Although they said they do not anticipate any charges or another visit. Its been three times now. First time they tried to say I was psychotic and have me checked into a mental asylum, second time about far right connections and that I was a high ranking far right guy giving people military training and recruiting them, and the last time I was coerced into being a nazi. My facebook went black and got deleted few days later police show up and drag me off basically. Few days after that they stop me jogging and say we want to have a chat. Last time was at the police station. You can request your own Interpol file so I may make that request. Have not heard much from the military here besides I am being relieved of duties and charged with false information or false answer on enrolment. Which can potentially carry prison time.

My wife is Vietnamese. They say "socialist republic" but its considered communist and a flagged country here. No swastikas here although I buzz my hair most of the time just due to being cheap and not wanting to see a hair dresser.

f³ck off ... listen if you went which i doubt then you know nothing about SF or training for it. I used to train with a guy who passed "selection" and he was badged. I am fit but trust me he was on another level. you failed the Legions tests.. calling BS on your whole story here.

Yes but I did not commit any crimes. Nor am I admitting to being far right. All I said was about getting flagged. And makes sense to ask first than show up and waste a trip. Innocent people get caught up in things all the time. False rape charges, coerced into admitting guilt by police, etc. Its like if you knew somebody who did heroin that does not mean you're a junkie. Especially if you have no idea yourself what they do in their private lives.
maybe a bit of weed but smack..no way forget it. Get on with your life.

I agree there I do not like drugs or druggies. Even stoners can be a bit on the dull side. Canada changed its laws so you can smoke weed in the army now. How long did you serve in the British army? You are probably old enough to be my father haha.

So your only crime is falsifying information ? ie not mentioning you were/are in a far right group ? doesnt seem like that big a deal even if its a banned group , if you do some reading you`ll see that some Legionnaires were signed up with the knowledge they have drug convictions, why were you not accepted the first time you tried?

How long ago did you first try to join? this is a pertinent question because if it was years ago, you will be asked why you have waited so long before trying to join again. Were you married when you first tried to join?
There's something not right here. And it's all to do with the timings.

Which is it? Are you ex-Canadian military who went to join the the legion the first time. Or ...?
Your occupation lists you as a security guard.
Again the timings don't work out.
I sent you a private message. I was not married until after my first try. It was a long wait as I decided to go back to the Canadian army at the time. But I may be booted out. I was out of the Canadian army when I went to try. Everyone said if you can join your own military there was no reason for me to stay or try again. Until now I may be in trouble and get kicked out so in order to have a military career a place like the Legion may give me a second chance. I can send more proof as needed to you in PM or email as you need it. I would not like it shared publicly however.

Yes that is my only crime. However, I do claim to be in on what was going on behind the scenes with the people I knew. First time I failed the beep test. Its embarrassing but true. I did not go back a second time as reapplied to Canadian army since everyone told me if I could still join the Canadian army I should do that and then come back if somebody went wrong there. Not legionnaires that said that only other guys trying out.

My running is not great but I am working on it its what I meant by wanting to be special forces in Canada. Training to be fit to try out not that I was/was headed for selection.

I was in canada a few times 😂
I sent somethings to try and clear up what I was saying. If you PM me or email me I can collaborate a bit of what I was saying but I do not want to post it all over the internet or publicly because of how many weirdos are online or my identity could get stolen etc. I am not a bad guy. I already sent somethings to Joesph Cosgrove. I will be respectful, honest and polite.

Yeah.. Just we get a lot of wanna be Rambo coming on here. The serious guys mostly do get selected. So any private stuff don't write openly.. As you've now understood.

I am sorry for coming across as an idiot or not explaining what I meant well. I will send you a PM of somethings about it. Just do not share publicly please. I am a private person. I am not trying to be Rambo or anything just meant failing beep test was a big wakeup call for me to improve. So I wanted to get as fit as you would need to be for special forces and try for pre selection here when I was back in my own military. Which may not be an option now so due to wanting a military career I would want to retry the Foreign Legion but I was not sure if they would accept me there due to (potentially) getting the boot here from the Canadian army for alleged far right ties. That was the only crime and civilian police also spoke to me about it and I was honest and co operative. The police here said I was flagged by Interpol so not sure if they were lying or not as I have never committed a crime in my life. The only thing I am suspected of is being far right and involved with far right groups. I would not travel to France until after the investigation had cleared and whatever punishment or lack thereof was carried out.

This is a forum, so if you have got any info than share it on the forum. For my part, I get more than enough PMs.

It was private information to verify somethings I said. Was not comfortable posting it publicly. Although I regret starting this thread as I made myself come across as an idiot and wannabe rambo type. Not my intention.

The timeline (I sent photos to you and sexpert in PM to prove):
June 2014-March 2018: I was in the Canadian army as a reservist (I did not claim to be special forces or headed to selection honest) and I also worked civilian security guard jobs. I left the reserves and such solely to try out for the Foreign Legion.
June 23rd 2018: I arrived in Paris and tried out.
July 2018: I was back in Canada and reapplied to Canadian army
March 2019: I was married in Vietnam (official date was 22nd)
May 2019: I was back in Canada
Sept 25th 2019: I was officially sworn in on paper
October (this month): is when the problems started for me because of alleged far right ties and possibly either people I know or myself being flagged by Interpol due to facebook conversations I was told. The only crime was the military here said I gave an false answer as I said I had no far right ties and they suspect me of it. So if found guilty I lose my career or potentially serve military prison time.

I just wanted to know what would the background and security check be on me if I was denied a career in the military here and after a decision was made and did my time whatever if I would stand a chance of passing security/background checks.

I did not try to offend or make everyone angry at me or try to embarrass myself which seems like I did. Due to explaining myself poorly.

I did not engage in any terror activities or propaganda etc. Or promote any hate speech etc. Just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Again I apologize.

I am not sure if I listed prior military service when I was there or not. But I believe I did. If not I put my most recent occupation which was security guard. I did not want to seem as a stolen valor type guy so I PMed a photo of that and myself from 2016. Just to try and prove that part.

And thanks for the help and such so far as well. I do greatly appreciate it.

Believe whatever you want I am not trying to sound cool to impress you. You dont know me personally and you dont know whatever went on in my life. And quite frankly I could care less if you think I am liar or lunatic. I am trying to be polite here ask a few questions about somethings thats it. People ask me questions I give an honest answer without trying to incriminate myself. If I wanted to make up a cool story or lies there are 100s of better places to do so than here. I am not trying to say I am fitter than you or special forces guy etc. That was my dream yea but its just that a dream.

That was hypothetical I do not even drink. I smoke cigarettes thats my vice. I am not being rude to you or anyone else. I am not a good liar either or make up stories. Its just confusing to me why you are ready to lynch me so to speak and not hear me out. I do not know you personally or even from here. But I have nothing against you. Yet here you are saying all this about me.
He didn't read right what you said
