I wasnt prepared for the test. I was at the facility near Marseille. Also family troubles.

Thanks for the reply though.
Pennsylvania to Marseille is a long way to go to find out that you weren’t prepared. Nothing has changed since I joined 30 years ago...eg: have your shit sorted, and that you’re 100% ready, willing and able to give the Legion 5 years of your life.
Erich36 you joined the forum in Aug 2013, what is it that you did not prepare for? There have been a lot of people who have taken their time to explain what awaits the candidates in Aubagne, instruction and then your regiment,
How can you not be prepared for the tests?
How can anyone have family problems when there is no communication with the outside allowed? Alright no my problem you may say, but you have been told that you need to be:
OK, there is no point in rubbing salt into the wounds. They must have given you a paper or said something to you. Or did you just throw it away, Can you (if you want to of course) go into a little more detail. How long had you been in, shoulder tab color. What did you say for your reason for leaving etc. ?
What was their reply?
