Police arrived at the scene of the incident, a good 10 minutes after the ambulances !
The préfet had mobilised soldiers (op sentinelle) as well as an important amount of CRS
An ex legionnaire's (REP) brother was présent at the scène and gave me a better version that the télé did
(said that, to get this thread back on track)

Avec plaisir. ..here goes (it's gonna be a long one)
Quote :, " for memory, from 2015, Infantery was classed into 2 categories
Those that have the new VBCI and them who have not
The first : 8 regiments
1 st Tirailleurs
152 nd Regiment d ' Infanterie
35 th Regiment d ' Infanterie
92 nd Regiment d ' Infanterie
16 th Bataillon de chasseurs
The RMT (Regiment de marche du Tchad)
2 nd RIMA (Infanterie de marine)
The 2 REI
The others and the rest who do not have the VBCI. ..
Alpin troops and Para
The cost prohibits : The VBCI comes in 2 versions
The VBCI VCI @ 3.6 million euros per unit
The VBCI VPC @ 2.8 million euros per unit
630 VBCI were ordered by the Armée de terre
95 of wich are the VCI version
Reinforced armour
Stronger axles to support the extra weight
The VCI version is reserved for Opex missions

Still have more stats and explaing to do. ..later
