60th anniversary of Lt-Col Jeanpierre's death

Today, May 29, marks the 60th anniversary of Lt-Col Pierre-Paul Jeanpierre's death, who was KIA on May 29th 1958 near Guelma (Algeria), while commanding 1er REP. As a Capt, Jeanpierre had served has the 2IC of the 1er BEP in Indochina and one of the few who could escape the disaster during the operation of evacuation of the town of Cao Bang, via the RC4.
