[not FFL] French airborne regiment re-created

Not FFL so don't get too excited…

14e régiment d'infanterie et de soutien logistique parachutiste was re-created a few days ago. Not really a “new“ regiment because it is to replace the régiment de soutien du combattant. But given that this unit wasn't airborne, one can say it’s a new para regiment.

Just a quick word on the garde drapeau . It is considered a great honour to be chosen as the regiment's garde or porte drapeau. The porte drapeau being the one who actually carries the regiment's colors. You can see a couple of pics Mark Wake as the REP's garde Drapeau in Calvi on the media page 3.

Also (forget which year, but it was when I was in the 3rd Cie REP) CCH Maillet on page 1, in the white debarder, was a garde drapeau REP on the 14th Juy in Paris.

Perhaps you should mention that garde faisseaux is watching the sections weapons lined up whilst they are doing something else. Not quite the same

The mission is sacré et jusqu'au bout
